I have two WRT54G routers that were set up as mesh nodes, VE7SML-1 and VE7SML-2. I am new to this stuff and set VE7SML-1 to a Wireless access point. Now I can' t connect to it. I read the FAQ's and found the advice to connect the two routers with a LAN cable and then connect one to the ethernet port of my computer, which I did. I then tried to point my browser to 172.27.0.2:8080 and still no luck.

My computer says that there is wireless signal from both VE7SMl-1 and VE7SML-2.

I want to change the WAP back to a mesh node.

Thanks

I found out another problem, I changed the SSID to VE7SML-1 too. Can't get back into setup to change it back to BroadbandHamnet-v1. Any help would be much appreciated.

Probably the fastest method would be to tftp the firmware back to the router:
