So I was working on upgrading a few of my routers to HSMM when I noticed that there was a firmware file for the WRT150N. Being in ownership of one of these units I decided to upload the firmware. So it upgraded Fine but now when I try to do the initial Setup where you put your call sign in it gives me an error saying invalid IP address.. the IP address is 10.0.0.0 which I am sure is wrong as it looks differently than my other 3 routers. Now i know that this unit works on the 5ghz band rather than the 2.4 so it wasn't going to work with my existing hardware but can someone with experience help me out? Thanks !

Some wireless N (802.11n) devices may work on both 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz.

I think the WRT150N is actually 2.4 GHz only in the factory configuration, and doesn't have 5.8 GHz hardware.

In any case, I would expect it to do 2.4 GHz only once BBHN is loaded on it.

What version of the firmware is loaded on your other routers? Are you using the Broadband Hamnet firmware on all of them, or are some of them still using HSMM firmware?  What IP address do you get for the other routers.

Was the IP actually 10.0.0.0, i.e. the last 3 octets were 0?  That's certainly not valid in any case.  10.x.x.x is valid, but they can't all be 0.

We don't have many people who have loaded the WRT150N.  Can anyone who's successfully loaded it post here to confirm it works?

I'm not part of the development team, so take what I say with a grain of salt. I'm also easily confused.

I have a WRT150N and have tried to flash it with no luck.  The issue is that it times out after 8 seconds after starting the flash.   I am using the bbhn-1.0.0-wrt150n.bin  Looking for any ideas/suggestions. Thanks-

Sorry for the delay in response. I was able to install the Package on the Wrt150n. you have to be patient i learned. but still having no luck with the setup portion of the router. What happens is when you initially set it up (put your call in and password) and say save it reloads the page and gives an error about invalid IP. well i have never had to put an ip in on my Wrt54g's. The odd thing is sure enough it shows 10. with nothing after. Still hoping to get this one working!!
