After having a lot of trouble with a UBNT Airgrid that had BBHN firmware installed (poor reception, unable to connect to other nodes unless in very close proximity), we flashed it back to UBNT firmware in hopes of returning a possibly defective device. However, we noticed that after flashing the unit back to UBNT firmware a site survey revealed around 30 plus sites in view vs around 11 sites with the exact same physical conditions only minutes before the switching firmware. This leads us to believe the hardware was ok, but there was something in the BBHN firmware that was causing the issue. Has anyone else seen this problem with using an Airgrid for BBHN and getting poor reception? Any suggestions to try to get it to work, or do we need to just send it back and get a Bullet instead. Thanks. |
