I have been away from BBHN for several years. My WRT54G 4-node network is running on 1.0.0. I want to upgrade all nodes to the latest firmware which appears to be 3.1.0. When I visit the firmware download page for Linksys, the only firmware I see to upgrade an exiting mesh node is bbhn-3.1.0-brcm-2.4-squashfs.trx. When I download this file it gets saved under the filename bbhn-3.1.0-brcm-2.4-squashfs.man on my laptop (the suffix changes from .trx to .man). When I use localnode8080 to connect to a node, go to Administration>Firmware Update, select the bbhn-3.1.0-brcom-2.4-squashfs.man file and click Update, I receive an error message saying "Firmware CANNOT be updated - the uploaded file is not recognized." Do I need to upload interim releases instead of trying to go directly from 1.0.0 to 3.1.0? Any help would be appreciated.
