My LinkSys MESH nodes are running 1.1.2 firmware. I see that 3.1.0 is available. Two questions:

Am I correct in guessing that 3.1.0 is not backwards compatible?

As my MESH seems to be running OK, what improvements would I see with 3.1.0?
