Hi San Bernardinoians.  I'm trying to get Rancho Cucamonga on the map.  Just posted K6GRP-1 through 4.  The only other nodes that show up on the map is in the high desert.

K6GRP and SoCAL meshers, Don-KE6BXT recently put a 5Ghz UBNT Rocket with a 120 sector panel on Santiago Peak. The panel is facing towards Catalina, so not in your direction for the moment. However, it is problematic for south orange county nodes to connect because this antenna is on the north side of the 4 legged tower and signal is attenuated in the southerly direction. If there was interest, KE6BXT might be persuaded to tweak the panel for 120 degree coverage from north Orange County to your direction. This node was installed recently, but no one has connected to date that we know of. Joe AE6XE

Still looking to link and it appears San Bernardino is growing. I have an M5 with 30dbi grill sitting on my roof itching for a direction.

K6GRP, you can point your M5 to Pleasants Pk and connect in to the area mesh. Check out http://www.ocmesh.org with all the details needed. I'd recommend Hpol. Joe AE6XE

AE6XE - What are the chances a node in Victorville will be able to get into Pleasant Peak? What kind of gain would I need from, say, Victorville City Hall to the peak? Thanks - Mike KA9CQL

Hello, Alex (kd0gg) here in Loma Linda, just joined. I don't have a setup yet, still learning about HSMM. Trying to determine which hardware is better for our area (Linksys or Ubiquiti).

That's great we have some gear here in Palmdale but no place suited high enough with permission to make good connections. Let me know exactly where you are we have a couple of places we may be able to use in Lancaster, Palmdale and Lake LA that I would like to try.

I have several services I host related to Ecomm PBX, Web Services, Custom Apps and these are available locally in Palmdale via MESH but no one is connecting to them right now. Please hit me up and send me an email I would like to discuss. ke6rhv@arrl.net

Anyone still around? I have three Linksys routers, that I have mostly used for testing and playing around. I have thought of moving to AREDN, but my priority for all new equipment is pretty low...

Dave, pretty much everyone has migrated to the AREDN platform now, as far as I can see. They support Ubiquiti, Mikrotik and TP-Link hardware now, and some of it is very affordable. Check out arednmesh.org 73 Orv W6BI
