I'm not sure I understand how a single operator can be in control of multiple AP's from a legality standpoint.  This is likely due to my own ignorance.  I'm also not sure but can you leave these running even when your not at that station?


Appreciate the help in educating me.

Also, could you run a Part 15 device behind the Part 97 mode AP to allow people to connect (legally not technically).

I would suggest starting with 97.201, 97.205, 97.219 and 97.115 as a start to forming an opinion on the matter.

This is the same as APRS:


97.221(b): A station may be automatically controlled while transmitting a RTTY or data emission on the 6m or shorter wavelength bands
