Can I get two (or more) Mesh-Nodes to establish a link over Ethernet?  The two nodes are on oppsite sides of a building and can't see eachother via RF.

Hi Doug, I'm still pretty new to OSLR but I did a quick test between a pi running hsmm-pi and a linux box running olsrd. In /etc/olsrd.conf (or whatever your olsrd configuration file may be) just add your interface on which you want to reach the remote node. This will probably be "eth0", so you should add this: Interface "eth0" { } You should also make sure the ethernet interface have IP-addresses that match: E.g. - on device 1: "44.255.255.1 netmask 255.255.255.252 broadcast 44.255.255.3" - on device 2: "44.244.244.2 netmask 255.255.255.252 broadcast 44.255.255.3" As far as I understand the RFC of OLSR, the protocol does support devices with multiple OLSR-interfaces, so it can run on any interface, wireless, wired, .... or even virtual interfaces (like vpn tunnels). Good luck 73 kristoff - ON1ARF
