Can we get location specific sub group added please? Like the others I would like to get those interested to join here to get the best information possible.  Myself and KC9ZKM are heading up experimentation here in the area and are trying to get others on board.  

Sorry to resurrect an old post (and for my first ever post here, as well!), but I agree there should be a Louisville area sub group. 

I just recently got a 2.4 node running in the Highlands of Louisville (near the intersection of Baxter and Broadway). I'm running a M2 on my third floor balcony, with a 19dB omni antenna (Hamfest find!). I've also got a M5 running and DtD linked to a WRT for 2.4 and 5.8 linking. 

As of right now the only service I'm running (experimenting with) is ShoutCast Video which seems to be working well, at least between my own nodes.

Don't quite have the right antenna setup for the WRT and M5 yet (running a couple arbitrarily directed panel antennas at the moment) but the M2 is out there just waiting for a neighbor!

A buddy of mine, KM4DKF is working on a mobile 2.4 node since he is always driving around the downtown area. He's been running HSMM-Pi, but recently acquired an M2 and a 17dB omni (from the same guy at Hamfest) and is working on getting that beast mounted on the car :)

Figured it would be good to have a Louisville area group for anyone else in the area that is interested in trying to get some links up.

I would like to add my "vote" for a Louisville area sub group!

As KM8ICE noted, I run a mobile node in my vehicle. I am a delivery driver with a route that consists of the downtown, River road, Highlands, Clifton, and St. Mathews areas.

As KM8ICE noted I am currently running a Raspberry Pi B running HSMM-PI. I made a post in the HSMM-PI G+ group (which seems to be the most active source for HSMM-PI information) documenting my testing setup.
